Urban Planning discipline is related to spatial changes that takes place in the context of dynamic economic and social relations as well as planning interventions toward these spatial changes.

Urban development issues and urban planning interventions constitute  core interest areas of the urban planning discipline in the world and in Turkey.

Urban Planning Master’s Program aims to develop specialized points of view and new understandings within this domain.

City Planning Graduate Program is completed in four semesters (two years). In the first two semesters theoretical and applied courses are offered;

whereas, in the last two semesters, it is expected that the student would work on master’s thesis under the supervision of his/her thesis advisor.
